Add Your Website to Google Search Console
Firstly, you will have a create a search console account. Or you can just link your Gmail account from your browser with it. Now you have your search console account where u can add websites, apps that you own to see how they are working through the search.

Just go to your search console dashboard. On the upper right side, you can see a red box written Add A Property.
Then you’ll see an option where u can add the link to your website.
Then comes the verification part. You have to verify your ownership with at least one method. The easiest method is using an HTML tag.
Copy the given meta tag and post it on your site’s homepage. Here’s where it gets complicated. You have copied the meta tag but you can’t find the place to paste it. If you ask me, I myself faced this issue. But finally, I realized where I can put the meta tag I copied.
If you are using a website on WordPress platform, You should install a plugin called YOAST SEO. This plugin will help you in sorting out SEO ( search engine optimization) issues. After you have copied the HTML meta tag, you have to follow these steps.
Find Yoast SEO plugin and click on dashboard. A new menu will appear.
Click on Webmaster tools, Paste the search console code on the google search console section, then click on save changes. After you have done these steps, wait for a minute or two, go back to the google search console window and then click on verify.
